To introduce my oldest daughter (age 6) to Spanish I created a lesson plan that corresponds with my youngest daughters (age 2) preschool lessons. The letter of the week for week 2 was Bb. Therefore I made a Spanish/English poster of words that started with the letter Bb in English. The Spanish/English poster has each word written in both Spanish and English beneath the picture. At my daughters age I don’t expect them to remember all the words in Spanish. I tend to pick one word from the poster as the word of the week. Week 2 the word was oso (bear) in Spanish. I also made a matching worksheet to go along with the poster. Both sheets I placed within my daughter’s Spanish binder.
